The Vision™ Glove features a water-resistant outer shell of FR water buffalo hide – a stronger, more durable and more flexible alternative to traditional cowhide. Breathable and tough, this design incorporates our classic multi-layer Kevlar®, Nomex®, and Modacrylic construction alongside our industry-leading 8-layer knuckle guard system. This comfortable design offers an NFPA 1971-2018 Compliant Porelle® PTFE Moisture Barrier that provides the best chemical and viral protection while keeping moisture out. Plus, its water buffalo hide palm, stitched down with high burst Kevlar® thread, allows for a superior grip – whether wet or dry.

Why the TYPE of Leather Matters

Tensile Strength! Check out this chart that highlights the difference between different types of leather.
For a glove that needs ultimate dexterity as well as toughness and water/fire resistance the best leathers for the job are Kangaroo or Goat.
